Mice got into my unit this month and destroyed over $10,000 worth of valuables and Keep-it-Storage is refusing to take responsibility for their negligence of not maintaining the pottery and keeping it resent free. On top of this, they moved some of my furniture and damaged antique dressers and BBQ by dragging them and not handing with care. They watched me collapse while doing most of the work then shoved my stuff in unit ignoring the process of what needed to go where so I had access to my belongings which I now don't have due to their inability to listen to a women. They had no respect for my personal property. They are refusing to allow me contact with the Owner. Now they are retaliating and evicting.

Hey Elizabeth, Our storage units are sealed and we have rules against storing food/ animal byproducts for this reason. Unfortunately when I checked your unit with you, we found a box of granola bars right in front on the ground. Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/35p4CvW You accepted our offer to move your stuff for you in order to clean and put down traps, and we did so carefully and followed your direction. We have always operated our facility with integrity and will admit when we make a mistake, but this was not one. You broke the rules and tried to claim $10,000 of damages on items that include animal byproducts which are prohibited to store for this very reason.
We're sorry this happened to you, but we stand by our decision.
